Rouch Collections operates from two countries; Abuja, in Nigeria, and in Australia where its founder is based. The brand delivers its fashion products on a global scale. Rouch Collections considers themselves to be unique on every front with its array of fashion items, which is very obvious owing to its unique product offerings.

Rouch Collections website had been in existence for nearly five years before we got on board to tackle its SEO challenges and was not near the top 50 on Google for the brand's desired keywords. Being a global brand with a global target audience, the website could not compete against the big fashion accessory names on Google, which was worrisome, for a website that had been around for nearly five years and had hundreds of inbound links.



As against most of our collaborative approach with the client towards every project, we adopted an isolated approach on this but kept the client in the loop. It was a result-oriented project and we understood it clearly, just as the client expected. We suggested a 3-month SEO campaign to the client which was agreed to on the premise of results after the period. Some of the things we did:

  • Auditing the website was our first step before arriving at our discovery process
  • Our strategy process focused on a comprehensive on-page optimization, having spied on the client's competitors. First, we overhauled the meta titles and descriptions of the entire website, injecting valuable keywords across the length and width of the website.
  • Besides keywords, we carefully took the time to optimize the website's performance by serving the website over a CDN, stripping the website of bloated HTML and CSS codes
  • Using our advanced SEO tools, we disavowed spammy, low-quality links on the website to prevent the possibility of a search engine penalty while boosting the website with backlinks with high DA and PA.
